The 4th annual After Christmas Ornament Exchange was held at the home of St. Paul's member Diane Brink. This event brings the people of St. Paul's together for fellowship, food and most important the "exchange" which has as its intention that prayers will be offered for a year for the person whose ornament is received.  Clara Meixner brought this tradition with her from Holy Redeemer CEC in Tucson, and each year a different person in the church hosts the event in their home. (it is not limited to women, but it seems that only the ladies attend, go figure....) The event is held after Christmas for several reasons, not the least of which is that ornaments can be bought for pennies on the dollar of their original price.  It is also much easier to plan an event in January after the hustle and bustle of the holidays is over.  All of the ladies enjoyed themselves immensely and look forward to praying for each other.
